expresses the fair market value for a non cash charitable contribution. The guidelines in IRS Publications 526 and 561 results in an appraisal and the completion of one section of IRS Form 8283.
Insurance Replacement Appraisal
is a report that documents the property, states its quality and expresses the current replacement value for insurance coverage.
Casualty Loss Appraisal
expresses the characteristics of lost or damaged property and the value. The descriptions come from oral or written statements by the owner of the lost property, viewing the remains of damaged property, and the owner’s records. A value opinion is in compliance with the IRS Publication 547 for IRS Form 4684.

An independent opinion in contested matters may assist in the resolution of differences.
